I will never live here again, the worst apartments I’ve ever had to deal with. My lease was coming to an end and I knew that so I was looking at new apartments.The leasing office never informed me or my roommate about the procedures for moving out. They only sent us letters to renew our lease nothing other than that. So it felt like if you weren’t renewing you’re on your own and they didn’t care. I went into the office September 3rd To talk to one of the management staff about what do I do for moving out. The staff said “come on the day you were finished moving out and we will check you out of your apartment and and your utilities.” I said “OK thank you and I will be back on the day that we are officially moved out to turn in all my stuff.”So I went on the 29th to finish checking out of the month and I already moved earlier in the month and they said everything was fine and you’ll receive a notice of your statement in the email. So I get the statement and they say because I didn’t turn in a written notice because I asked on September 3 and not 30 days out that I am not liable to pay one months worth of rent the for the following month as a fee which came out to $1955 that more then the previous rent I had. Also the original bill without the fee is only $100. They took my whole deposit and are demanding more or it will go to collections. Such a terrible company. I warn you NEVER MOVE HERE SCHOOLS AND AREA SUCKS FOR TRAFFIC AND MANAGEMENT DOSNT CARE ABOUT YOU. I ALSO GOT SCAMMED IN THE BEGINNING BY THEM ALSO FOR CHARGING ME EXTRA ON MY APPLICATION FEES. CHARGED ME 4 times and never got my refund. Came out to couple hundreds lost.

Everything is soo nice and I love my updated amenities. It’s such a quiet place and surrounded by a school which is very nice. I feel like it’s a family environment and my neighbors are very nice

This is a very quiet community, and the office staff is very friendly. Great location too! Apartment homes are modern, very warm and cozy. Home is where the heart is and this place goes out of their way to make you feel at home. They also put on monthly events for the community.

I love how there are in-unit washer/dryers, dishwasher. Most of the time maintenance responds to work orders quickly for the amount of people that live here. I like the change of pace of the look of the complex now. Iya nice.

I have lived here on and off for the past 8 years. So much has changed and I believe it has been for the better. The new paint job is beautiful. I have enjoyed my time here and can't wait to see the new improvements that keep happening. Mostly excited for the gym to be open past business hours! :)

Expected too much. Was unsatisfactory when we moved in. Needs a lot of improvement. Specially cleaning. We had to pin point so many missing things like lights inside the refrigerator and microwave. But I their response to any requests for repairs. They are fast.

The community is great! The apartments are within a 10 mile radius of every store you need. If only the apartment had a club house like pool table or some other activity other then the gym and pool.

I've enjoyed my time here so far. I have pretty nice neighbors for the most part. The apartment complex is pretty well maintained. Although it does take as while for maintenance to arrive, they're very nice.

I am very impressed with the amenities and the interior of the apartments. However, There is a major roach a spider problem throughout the premise. I have now had my apartment sprayed twice (once right before move in and once after moved in) and I still get roaches around the house. This can be improved majorly.

The cabinets, appliances, washer and dryer and kitchen sink is older than other units, but other than that, I'm pretty content with everything else. I love the pool access and other amenities. I do really wish that there was a playground for resident children, though. My little ones would love that and it'd be so convenient for me and anyone else with children.

I HATE HOW THERE IS NO SECURITY CAMERAS IN THE WHOLE COMPLEX. SO MUCH FOR FEELING SAFE AND SECURE. MY BROTHER'S CAR GOT STOLEN AND WE COULDN'T FIND OUT WHO STOLE IT BECAUSE THERE ARE NO SECURITY CAMERAS. AND ONE OR TWO SECURITY GUARDS CAN'T KEEP WATCH OVER 600 APARTMENTS ALL AT ONCE. JUST SAYING.

I love the apartment the location, the only thing that is really inconvenient is that I can hear every step the upstairs neighbors take. Their floor squeaks so loud, and they are consistently walking around sometimes wakes me up at 1 in the morning. Very unhappy with that, they play music pretty loud early in the morning as well. I hope someone can get back to me to see if there is a solution for this if any, it’s not so much the neighbors fault, I think their floor is just really old and unstable.

Good community. Only two things I dislike in the community is the early morning noise with the leaf blower & floors are too dirty meaning a lot of stains or sometimes trash on the floor. Other than that everything is good.

This place has gotten worse with their customer service and their pricing. I had one of the ladies in the office the little Mexican one yell and argue with me about my guest coming into visit me she was so rude and ridiculous. And we pay for pest control yet we have cockroaches crawling around our bathroom at night and spiders everywhere. And also they are inconveniences us by redoing patios and want us to remove all our items and if we don’t then they take them and charge us for them?? That’s ridiculous you guys should be paying for storage for us since it’s you guys cashing all this inconvenience. This place sucks now I can’t wait to get out of here!

We are realizing that some appliances are breaking down faster than they should. We’ve been here for 3 months and the dishwasher broke already. Also, maintenance hasn’t scheduled a day yet. We don’t even know if they schedule specific days, or not, which we need to know so that we can put our dog in the kennel for them while we are at work. It’s very frustrating. We still love living here and how nice the community is. I just wish putting in work orders weren’t so stressful haha

Lately everything has been improving since my last review, the only thing I would suggest is just about the pool service and rules, ever since the pools were “beautified” the pools have been dirty from the ground you can see dirt, also the rules of the pool is wearing a bracelet and only two guest, while we see people have pool parties and gets very crowded, other than that we are pleased.

Amazing place to live. Very quiet and peaceful. Only issue I have had is the lizards and snakes on the property. When it came to the snake I removed it myself with a broom... We found a lizard in my son’s room haha it was a baby lizard but still. Other than that amazing living environment. You guys just need to have a protocol and procedure for wildlife on the property.

Upon coming here the hot water wasn't on, no big deal but it's just a hassle on top of everything else while setting up. Also maintenance is there early with loud machines and the walls are decently thin so it's difficult to sleep for people who work grave yard. There's homeless people wondering the property even mid day going through the trash cans. I've noticed two cars broken into with the glass in the floor so I know they happen on the property. One being in a paid parking spot another one in the “free” parking spot...there's cockroaches that roam the side walks and one ran across the front door and went flying off our balcony. There's a lot of trash in the parking lots and glass in ours that's pretty thick that has been there over 2 weeks and someone threw out abunch of sun flower seeds...it seems like towing cars for a commission with the towing business is More important then cleaning the parking lot.Also there's a decent amount of dog poop on the grass, probably because I've noticed the dog roller out of bags and maybe even because people are lazy. Either way I try my best to stay out of any grass sections. I've also had a few questions about certain things and have tried getting in contact with the front office and it takes anywhere from 3-7 calls before anyone answers sometimes have to wait 15-30 mins and call again. When dealing with any employee they are very friendly, maybe more staff just needs to be hired for the scale of the complex. Paying $1890, it seems like things around here would be a lot cleaner and there wouldn't be junkies going through garage and cars being broken into and the property being dirty maybe because of the junkies. Staff is friendly though (when reached)

Do not move here. Both of my cars got broken into and got everything stolen from. Leasing office did not seem to care and just asked if I filled a police report and called my renters insurance. Yes this can happen anywhere, but from when my cars got broken into the gates were being left open 24/7. They closed them for a week after my stuff got stolen and again they've been open for the past 2-3 weeks. (-: To make things worse they gave me a garage for $100 and the first day I try and open it to go to work at 7:00 AM, the garage is not working. I had to wait until 3 PM to get it open. Two days later I park my car inside and tried to close it, but nope it did not want to close. Yesterday I get a note for the first time ever after 4 months to put my parking pass on my car and yes this was my mistake that I never put it on my glass, but I tried to ask for a new one literally 10 minutes ago and they said it is $50 to replace it or my car will get towed.(Which I do not remeber them saying it was $50 to replace nor did I see it on the contract that I just reread right now). Btw I can not even keep my working truck here because they stole everything from there so now I have to drive an extra 30 minutes away and 30 minutes back just to keep my truck safe. These apartments are a joke. So please just move somewhere else and not here, and listen to the reviews because they are true. (-: LOL update: They closed the gates a few days after this review or because a motorcycle got stolen in these apartment .

I gave it a 4 star bcuz The staff especially Laura is very detailed w/ such awesome customer service. Can't give it a 5 star Bcuz I had and issue that took 3 management request to get fix. I called the gas company to come check it out, they said the earthquake valve was tripped. So, 3rd call I made to have maintenance I informed them what was wrong. I gave it a 4 star bcuz The staff especially Laura is very detailed w/ such awesome customer service. Can't give it a 5 star Bcuz I had and issue that took 3 management request to get fix. I called the gas company to come check it out, they said the earthquake valve was tripped. So, 3rd call I made to have maintenance I informed them what was wrong. I love living here except patio and outside of my apartment it's dirty and dog cat poop 💩 everywhere .love the area pool and jacuzzi I'm happy here will love it if the outside was cleaner

My stay here started off really great but about half way through they started doing construction and closed the pools, the BBQs, and the gym and left them closed far longer than they had said. Moved in july2010 never had an issue until the NEW MANAGEMENT.(Hensley). The unit that we got was upgraded and supposably every appliance was new... The FIRST NIGHT was when it started the little roaches came out to greet us.. Honestly that was the worst!! Called the office and they were SURPRISED there was pests... And just sent pest control like 4 times which we had to pay. Every day I would get home there was never parking mind you it was barely 6pm?. They charge you monthly for the carports and garage. They charge you for everything. Glad we are out The staff has very poor Communication skills with each other. The only person you can go to and will do something is Laura. Other than that. Don't waste your time here

The first night we moved in one of our vehicles got broken into and we lost some very important paperwork due to that fact. Normally wed pass this off and just some bad luck but the fact that the apartment complex has the gate wide open just shows us the lack of security this "gated community " has.

My issue was fixed and I received an email when it was completed with notes about what was done which I liked. My only complaint is that I submitted it on Friday night and someone was sent on a Sunday to do this and I assumed a low priority fix like mine (A/C filter) wouldn't be handled until Monday. I left everything out including a bunch of financial documents and my checkbook which makes me feel uneasy. I love the promptness, I just wish I would have known this was more than a Monday-Friday service.

Response: They charge a monthly bug fee! It’s not free and when I requested it in previous years it didn’t do much so I’ve been incurring the expense of liquid traps that help. Been here almost 5 years and they are refusing to renew my lease so they can upgrade my apartment like the others apartments and make a fortune more! It’s in the paperwork sent to me! I am a single mom struggling and in school full time and given less than 2 months to find a place and a deposit and move out! I’m disgusted with this place. We are good tenants who always pay our rent on time! They didn’t even offer us to move to another apt. Lots of car break ins, windows shattered, and bugs. It’s typical apartment living but the prices are already high but they are redoing everything to raise it even higher. They have no loyalty to their residents. We may end up homeless because I don’t have the means to move and wasn’t even offered a one bedroom instead of two or any other option but told they need my apartment to upgrade and I have the paper they stuck on my door. Read the other reviews as well before making your decisions

As for car break ins, we do have courtesy patrol on property from 7pm to 5am. They work diligently on keeping our property safe , however we cannot fight crime. We were unaware of your pest concerns as we do not have any record of you scheduling any treatments. Pest control is on property every Tuesday and Friday , this service is free to you . Way too expensive not even worth it. Don't get me started with how expensive it is for just 1 bedroom! The staff who fix any damages from your apartment or at least 'try' are lazy and just want to get paid. Plus there's dog waste everywhere you go.

I went to take a tour around the apartments & two of the office employees were supposed to show me the units, until another interested person just showed up. I was expecting one of those two persons to take the other interested people while the other available person could show my mom & me around. Instead, the employees took us together. I didn’t mind it until my mom and i were left in the back and had figure out the amenities through the website since the two employees were too busy helping/flirting with the other person that just tagged along in OUR tour. One of the employees kept on saying “ay ay ay” and making Spanish slurs/jokes as if my mom and I spoke Spanish. My mom is Lebanese and I am half Brazilian. I don't understand Spanish so the fact that she assumed we did, really offended us. I tried my best to see things on the bright side, but being ignored and disrespected after I had already requested a tour via email was so humiliating that i just left. I didn’t request for any more information & they didn’t ask me to take a seat since clearly, the other person who just tagged along was their favorite. I expected to be given the time, energy & respect for that tour, since I live over an hour away. I expected a bit of professionalism but instead I got the opposite. So if you’re working in a leasing office, don’t assume people’s race just by the color they dyed their hair, it’s rude & completely ignorant.

We wish to be more sensitive to each persons case, however these units are selected at random. We understand that this is an inconvenience so we are giving a sufficient 60 days plus for residents search for their new home. As for car break ins, we do have courtesy patrol on property from 7pm to 5am. They work diligently on keeping our property safe , however we cannot fight crime. We were unaware of your pest concerns as we do not have any record of you scheduling any treatments. Pest control is on property every Tuesday and Friday , this service is free to you . I requested the service on 7/1/19 and was told on 7/2/19 that they couldn't visit until 7/3/19 at which time I informed the office that I wouldn't be home and rescheduled the visit for Friday morning on 7/5/19. Then while I was running a few minutes behind to leave on 7/3/19, maintenance arrived at 9ish. I was happy I was still home to watch my dog during the repairs.

The experience has gotten better with the new management. The construction has not disturbed us much and the hub has been convenient. Rent however has increased by 250 dollars a month over the past two years and we have not seen any changes in our area or our apartment

Being a resident here has been alright. I definitely think there's a lot of room for improvement. My unit wasn't fully cleaned upon move in and it was not taken care of. The gate is always opening and homeless people come in to the gated area. Also, there are roaches in the buildings, it's gross. I do like the pool area, but the bathrooms are disgusting. More care needs to be taken into the property.

There is no hot water in my kitchen. A plug or outlet in each room does not work. The people upstairs have a kid that jumps and runs from the time it gets up until it goes to bed. It is simply awful living under these self absorbed people.

Been here almost 5 years and they are refusing to renew my lease so they can upgrade my apartment like the others apartments and make a fortune more! It’s in the paperwork sent to me! I am a single mom struggling and in school full time and given less than 2 months to find a place and a deposit and move out! I’m disgusted with this place. We are good tenants who always pay our rent on time! They didn’t even offer us to move to another apt. Lots of car break ins, windows shattered, and bugs. It’s typical apartment living but the prices are already high but they are redoing everything to raise it even higher. They have no loyalty to their residents. We may end up homeless because I don’t have the means to move and wasn’t even offered a one bedroom instead of two or any other option but told they need my apartment to upgrade and I have the paper they stuck on my door. Read the other reviews as well before making your decisions

Overall, I really enjoy the location, and atmosphere at Hensley. The grounds are usually clean and well-kept, and our neighbors are typically quiet and nice. Sometimes I get frustrated with the smell of smoke, or weed that wafts up into our apartment from somewhere in the apartments near us. My biggest frustration is with parking. We never had issues previously, but since the construction began, a large section of spaces has been taken up in our section of the complex. We have one parking spot that we pay for, but it can be difficult to find parking for our second vehicle.

We never had issues previously, but since the construction began, a large section of spaces has been taken up in our section of the complex. We have one parking spot that we pay for, but it can be difficult to find parking for our second vehicle.

Its not like a home like they day they constantly coming inside your property to inspect or check I have no privacy and they are always working on something raising rent they say you can be late and pay a fee but because you pay a late fee they will not renew your contract and they practically throw you out and charging a lot more then you moved in after moving out they give you a list and never give you back your full deposit . I would not recommend it to many rules and laws you have to sign constantly and they go by the codes supposedly.

I am renting a Garage because $600 worth of equipment was stolen from my truck in my carport. I have had many times where the garage does not open always when I need to take my children to school, go to work or put my work equipment In the garage or take it out. So far I love it ! The apartment is so modern and the neighborhood so quiet! Also with all the freeways so close, my commute to work is ten times better !

This is a review from a tenant, Sylvia. Today, May 10, 2019, three cars were stolen from the Hensley Apartment. My brand new Michelin tires that I bought on May 8, 2019 were also stolen from my car and the wheels badly damaged, I reported to the police but they could not do anything because there are no cameras but most importantly the " security patrol" were not aware of the theft. I went to the leasing office and asked for the number to the Corporate Office , they refused to give it to me. I was told the Manager will call me, but I am yet to receive the call. I have lived in this apartment for about 5 years and experienced both Waterstone and Hensley. I am not looking for any excuse or blame game, all I want to see is an improvement in the Sexurity protocols. I also want the number for your Corporate Office. TENANTS NEED SECURITY MUCH MOTE THAN PAINTED BUILDINGS. THE HOME IMPROVEMENT SHOULD INCLUDE SECURITY.

Leaving it every day to go to work. These “upgraded” apartments are NOT worth the rent you charge. Makes sense why I continue to see so many OUTBOUND u-hauls lately.

My daughter lived here for a few months this last year and had a horrible experience. Maintenance had to be call over 20 times for leaks, broken washing machine and 9 failed attempts to capture rats. After all that they had the gall to deduct from her security deposit for damage to the carpet caused by the rats! The place was filthy and reaked when she moved in. AVOID this complex!!
